At MushyTech, we work hard to provide fast, reliable, and discreet shipping for all liquid cultures, agar plates, grain products, and other mycology supplies. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our shipping services, delivery times, restrictions, and order processing guidelines.

What shipping services do you offer?

Our default shipping method for all orders is USPS Ground Advantage. This service offers dependable nationwide delivery at an affordable rate and is ideal for most mycology products we ship.

Shipping rates are calculated by weight, ensuring you only pay for what your order costs to ship.

USPS lists Ground Advantage delivery as 4 days anywhere in the United States, though in our experience, 5 days is typical for most destinations.

Orders that include spore prints only will ship via USPS First-Class Mail.

If you need faster delivery, you may upgrade to USPS Priority Mail at checkout for an additional cost.

Free Shipping Eligibility

Orders over $75 automatically qualify for free USPS Ground Advantage shipping—no promo code required.

During certain sales or promotions, the free-shipping threshold may be temporarily lowered to help customers save even more.

Order Processing Times

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday.
Any order paid for before 6:00 PM Pacific Time will be shipped the next business day.

Please note:

  • Orders placed Friday after 6 PM will ship Monday morning.

  • We do not ship on weekends or national holidays.

Every package is handled with care to ensure your products arrive safely and quickly.

Discreet Packaging for Privacy

All orders are shipped discreetly.
Your package will:

  • Show no references to mushrooms, spores, liquid cultures, or mycology products

  • Display a simple return address labeled: MushyTech

  • Be packaged using standard USPS materials

Your privacy is always a priority.

State Shipping Restrictions

Due to state regulations, we cannot ship research liquid cultures to addresses in:

  • Idaho

  • Florida

  • Georgia

Orders placed with shipping addresses in these states will be canceled and refunded to maintain legal compliance.
